Stolen blue mtn bike (University )

Bike was stolen from University Campus building life sciences south. It is a small women’s bright blue mountain bike with 6 speed changer and a low, medium, high setting. It is registered in the city of Chandler with a serial number on the bar.

There was a bike light attached to it, that was very loosely fitted, but it’s possible the thief took that off.

I can’t remember the make of the bike as it was a childhood bike from when I was 9.

I can’t afford another bike.

Stolen bike, do not buy (el presidio)

stolen bike: a custom built black diamondback frame with a black leather brooks saddle and shimano pedal and gear components was stolen from my residence yesterday, march 30th between the hours of 9 and 5. the bike features a large silver bell on the left handle and has slick tires (not sure of the brand). it’s in great condition and the person, if they know anything about bikes, would ask 250 to 400. if you see this bike or have any information please contact me! i do not have a photo but hopefully can find the post from which i originally bought this bike so that a picture is available. thanks and poke sticks in the spokes if you see someone riding this bike, i hope they get some awful face road rash.

I wonder that too. I wonder if there are any records at TPD or the UA. I'll try checking into it. I doubt people who get their bikes back ever post saying they got them back, though. It would be cool to see where the bikes end up. People also must know that they are buying stolen bikes, but just don't care.

I've only known of two people to get their bike back from being stolen in this town. I wonder what the return rate is. I would be neat to equip a bike with GPS and set it out as bait and follow the trail.
