James, thanks for the comment! I posted an update about it.

I saw the speculation yesterday on BikePortland.org, but was surprised they turned the feature on before the announcement.

Some semi-related news of note. Google Maps has an option for choosing directions by bicycle starting this week. It’s in beta and not all bike paths are in their system. Hopefully it improves. Thank goodness Mountain is almost done. It’ll be nice to be able to get to the river from there without dealing with dirt and construction.

One can only hope that the infrastructure improvements are completed in time for Ciclovia Tucson…
