The Tucson bike shop moved up to the top spot from the number seven spot in 2013.
According to The Active Times about 3,000 people voted for their favorite shops and the top 50 wad based on the results. While it may be a quite subjective and a small sample, it’s good to see a local shop getting some national notoriety.
Here’s a snippet about Fairwheel from the site:
Home to one of the best group rides in the country, some of the most incredible custom bikes and the rarest European parts, this Arizona shop was the only one on our list to receive more than 300 votes. Nearly every voter gushed about the selection, knowledgeable staff and the outstanding customer service. One fan even shops from overseas, “I have lived all over the world and am currently in Europe, I still procure items from Fair Wheel. This might be the best shop on the planet in all honesty.”fairwheelbikes.com
Fairwheel wasn’t the only Arizona bike shop to receive some recognition. Sedona’s Bike and Bean checked in at the 33rd spot.
It’s interesting to see some of the bike shops around the country. I’ve been to two. What about you?
