About 20 people, including six kids, showed up for the Living Streets Alliance’s first family-friendly ride. It’s something the organizers plan on hosting on the last Saturday of every month.
The Alliance’s Emily Yetman said she thought the first ride was a success and would use what they learned to improve future rides.
They might consider moving the start location around the city to show families in different parts of the region how they can get to various attractions by bicycle and safe roads.
