Bringing bike commuting to the masses

I made an appearance on KGUN9′s Tucson Morning Blend show on Tuesday morning.

My goal was to come across as normal and show people bike commuting is not hard. That is the main reason I didn’t bring the Big Dummy. I didn’t want people thinking you have to have something as extreme as that to bike commute.

Ironically, the segment before mine was about RVs.

It was awesome watching you as you shared your passion and knowledge of cycling. Tucson cyclists are on the move. It only takes a spark to get a fire burning, YOU and Tucson Velo are that spark. Great job Mike. Thanks

Good job on this one, Tucson Velo! (though you would have blown the high-heeled girl's mind if you had also presented a quality simple one-speed folder that can be brought on the bus to conquer that first/last mile problem)
